Rosacea can be treated at Dermatology Realm in Germantown, Tennessee. Rosacea is an increase sensitivity of the blood vessels of the face that induce these veins to rapidly dilate. This rush of blood causes the face to 'Blush & Flush' which, over time, will result in the classic 'Ruddy' complexion.
Rosacea patients need to avoid UV light, heat, hot liquids, hot spicy foods, and alcohol, even when present in perfumes, colognes and aftershaves.
Continued irritation of the face will intensify the flushing and lead to persistent progressive facial redness and dilated face veins.
Tender red acne nodules will also develop (Acne Rosacea). The skin becomes more sensitive, leading to more irritation, even from most over-the-counter skin care products.
Rosacea patients need to take their condition seriously. Laser care significantly reduces the severity of Rosacea.
LASER SURGERY FOR FACE VEINS AND ROSACEA
We also treat face veins at our office in Germantown, Tennessee. Face veins can be eliminated by the most advanced vascular laser- the VERSAPULSE. With its patented chill tip, the skin is cooled while the laser light is selectively absorbed by the red blood cells in the vein, sealing the vein from inside.
Even large surface veins can be treated and treatments can lower the severity of one's Rosacea. These laser treatments are very easily tolerated by the patient, but will not cure the condition. Appropriate skin care is still required to prevent Rosacea's adverse effects.
